The Verdi Chorus would like to dedicate our redesigned and beautiful website to Bill Manheim, who passed away unexpectedly in July 2021.
Bill was a member of our board of directors for 8 years, and was our Webmaster and contributed to the success of the Verdi Chorus in so many ways. He was a true friend to us all, and generosity came naturally to him. He devoted large amounts of time to being sure that all of his responsibilities were carried out completely and masterfully. At our board meetings Bill was usually quiet, but when he spoke his words commanded our attention. His passionate devotion to the chorus was enormous even though we were geographically 400 miles from his home. We will carry him in our hearts forever.
