Christina Kushnick
Soprano, Christina Kushnick received her MM at Manhattan School of
Music in 2020 under the tutelage of Shirley Close and was a student of
Dolora Zajick’s Institute of Young Dramatic Voices from 2017-2022.
Ms. Kushnick also attended the Musik Theater Bavaria program in
Oberaudorf, Germany in 2019. In 2025, she made her debut at Walt
Disney Concert Hall performing Wagner’s “Liebestod” with the Los
Angeles Symphonic Winds and starred in the world premiere of Felix
Jarrar’s The Tell-Tale Heart (Narrator) with Modern Opera Company. In
2019, she made her Carnegie Hall debut performing in the Vanessa
quintet during the Manhattan School of Music Centennial Celebration
and was chosen as the Soprano Solo Cover for Beethoven’s Symphony
No.9. Other credits include Aïda (High Priestess), Hansel and Gretel
(The Witch), and scenes from Ariadne auf Naxos (Ariadne) and Un
Ballo in Maschera (Amelia) with Manhattan School of Music, and
Cavalleria Rusticana (Mama Lucia) with the Verdi Chorus in 2024. Ms.
Kushnick is a humble recipient of the Richard F. Gold Career Grant
(2020).
