Misuda has always had a special passion for dance and flamenco. As well as being professionally trained in classical ballet and contemporary dance, she has a BA degree in World Arts and Cultures (dance emphasis) from UCLA. She began studying classical ballet when she was 5 years old and became a member of the Los Angeles based-Westside Ballet Company. She has been invited to participate in many prestigious classical programs including the American Ballet Theatre in New York City, Milwaukee Ballet, and the Bat Dor Ballet Company in Tel Aviv, Israel. Misuda started her ongoing flamenco training in Los Angeles with Roberto Amaral as a young girl. She later moved to Spain for several years where she trained in Madrid, Seville, and Jerez de la Frontera. Her training included studies with Artists such as Alfonso Losa, Miguel Cañas, Juana Amaya, José Maya, Pilar Ogalla, Inmaculada Aguilar, Concha Jareño, and La Truco. She performed in both the Suma Flamenca in Madrid and Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla with the company of Alfonso Losa and Jose José in Grito. She has shared the stage with artists like Alfonso Losa, José Maya, David de Jacoba, Saul Quiros, Samuel Flores, and Lucky Losada. Misuda has also performed with the Spanish company of Nuria Castejón at the Paris Opera in France and in the acclaimed production Viva Madrid! in Bogotá,Colombia. She is a regular performer at flamenco venues all across Southern California and continues to dance with the Los Angeles Opera under Maestro Plácido Domingo at the LA Music Center.
